Amazone ZA-M Max Spreader
The "Max"imum of advanced spreading technique, hopper capacity, spreading quality, reliability, stability and easy handling.
The AMAZONE ZA-M Max is the result of nearly 40 years' experience in the development of twin disc fertiliser broadcasters. AMAZONE developed the world's first tractor mounted twin disc fertiliser broadcaster of which more than 800,000 units have since been sold worldwide.

ZA-M Max: Flagship of the AMAZONE fleet
With a working, width of up to 36m and a constant horizontal setting height of the discs (80cm), a constant low disc speed of 720 R.P.M., a constant working width setting even when changing spread rates (no quantity effect) and constant fertiliser metering by slow running agitator spirals the ZA-M Max is recognised as the state-of-the-art spreader by Europe's top tillage farmers.

The AMAZONE ZA-M system has received only "good" and "very good" classifications in all international tests and not only up to a working width of 24m as our competitors did but also to a spreading width of 36m and with the very important boundary spreading system.
The agitator spirals provide an even fertiliser flow by fully covering the outlet. The fertiliser is drawn gently and continuously towards the outlets by the slowly rotating (196 R.P.M.) helicoidal agitator segments. An additional shearing device on the agitator drive prevents damage by foreign objects. All spreading discs run at a low, constant speed (720 R.P.M.). In conjunction with the fertiliser feed-on point being near to the discs' centre this means that the fertiliser is gently accelerated to save sensitive granules from being damaged. The foldable filling sieve is supplied as standard. It helps prevent foreign objects from damaging the metering and spreading devices. The sieve halves can be folded upwards for quick access to the agitators and hopper bottoms.
